How to Reformat a Cell in Excel Online
The steps in this article were performed in the desktop version of Google Chrome, but will also work in other desktop Web browser like Firefox or Safari. The steps in this article will specifically focus on changing the formatting for a single cell, but you can also apply these steps to a group of cells, or even the entire spreadsheet. Step 1: Open a browser window and navigate to Excel online at https://office.live.com/start/Excel.aspx. If you aren’t already signed into a Microsoft account then you will be prompted to do so at this point. Note that you will need a Microsoft account if you wish to use Excel online. Step 3: Select the cell or cells that you wish to reformat.
